I was born in Mamaroneck, New York. My mom was an actor of the stage and I grew up surrounded by the world of the theater.
I started my career as an artist at Hanna-Barbera in the mid-eighties as a clean-up artist/designer in the animation industry. In the mid-nineties I art directed the TV series, HAPPILY EVER AFTER: FAIRY TALES FOR EVERY CHILD, for HBO, and production designed the Turner Pictures feature film THE PAGEMASTER, starring Macaulay Culkin, directed by Maurice Hunt and Joe Johnston. Additionally, I have worked in the creative development of features such as EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE, HERCULES and MULAN for the Walt Disney Co. to name a few --- and FAMILY DOG, with Tim Burton and Steven Spielberg, for Universal Studios.
In 2007 I completed two seasons as a background design supervisor at Cartoon Network Studios on “CLASS OF 3000” Featuring the voice and music of Andre’ Benjamin (Outkast.) I've been teaching animation art in the SPEF summer programs for over ten years now.
I love these guys!
